Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Summary: we run no accounts and no forms. We store your theme and consent choices in your own browser. Advertising partners - including Google - may use cookies to serve ads; you can opt out at any time. We never sell personal data.
Section 1

Who we are

TDAC Guide is an independent, non-commercial informational website about the Thailand Digital Arrival Card. It is not affiliated with the Royal Thai Government or any private visa or arrival-card service. This policy explains what data exists when you visit.

Section 2

Information we collect

Section 3

Cookies and local storage

We set no cookies of our own. The only browser storage we use is local storage: the consent value ("accepted" or "declined") and your theme choice ("light" or "dark"). Clear your browser's site data for this website to remove both at any time.

Section 4

Advertising and Google AdSense

If this website displays advertising, it is served through third-party networks such as Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Where required by law (for example in the EEA or the UK), advertising partners request consent before setting non-essential cookies, which is what our consent banner is for.

Section 5

No sale of personal data

We never sell, rent, trade or otherwise share personal data with third parties for money or for free. This website sells nothing and runs no commercial transactions.

Section 6

Third-party links

Our pages link to external websites - Thai government portals, Wikipedia and private services we describe factually. Those sites have their own privacy policies, which we do not control. Read their policies before providing them with any personal information.

Section 7

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because we hold no visitor profiles, exercising these rights is simple: clear your browser's site data for this website to erase everything stored on your device, and use the opt-out links in Section 4 for advertising cookies. For hosting-provider server logs, contact us via the details in Section 11.

Section 8

Children's privacy

This is a general-audience travel information website. We knowingly collect no personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Section 9

Data retention

Local-storage values are kept until you clear them. Server logs kept by the hosting provider are retained only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting.

Section 10

Changes to this policy

If this website's behaviour changes, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date. Changes will never introduce the sale or sharing of personal data.

Section 11

Contact

This project runs no newsletter or account system, so the fastest channel for privacy questions is the site owner's published contact on the About This Site page. We respond to data-related requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Section 12

Consent

By clicking "Accept" on the consent banner you agree to the use of cookies as described in Section 4. "Decline" stores your refusal, and non-essential advertising cookies should not be set for your visits. You can change your decision at any time by clearing this website's site data in your browser - the banner will appear again.
